2016 coming to Colorado

Posted by Richard on August 15, 2012

The controversial film 2016: Obama’s America will be released on August 17 in Colorado Springs and Pueblo and on August 24 in Grand Junction and various Denver metro area theaters (go here for details; select your own state for locations and dates near you).

2016 is based on Dinesh D’Souza’s best-seller, The Roots of Obama’s Rage, and is produced by Gerald R. Molen, whose production credits include Jurassic Park, Rain Man, Minority Report, and Schindler’s List.

Anita Crane wrote a pretty good overview of the film, D’Souza, and his premise that Obama is driven by the anti-colonialism he adopted from his father. Check it out. And go see the film!

UPDATE: Looks like some of us Denver-area bloggers (and friends) may get together to see this. Details TBD. Add a comment if you’re interested.

UPDATE 2 (8/21): The two most likely locations, SouthGlenn and Denver Pavilions, have finally posted schedules for Friday, 8/24. The SouthGlenn Stadium 14 theater has showings at 1:45, 4:30, 7:15, and 9:50. Denver Pavilions has showings at 12:20, 2:40, 5:05, 7:35, and 10:00. I’m leaning toward Denver Pavilions, either at 5:05 with dinner and/or drinks after or 7:35 with dinner and/or drinks before. See my new post and leave a comment there about your preference if you’d like to join us.

Y’know, this might be just the kind of thing that a few bloggers would get together to go see.

Not a bad idea. I’d be up for that.

That sounds like a fine idea!

I checked out the two most likely locations (from my perspective; open to other suggestions), SouthGlenn and Denver Pavilions. The former has no movies scheduled for the 24th yet; the latter only has 2, and this isn’t one of them. I guess these days theaters don’t like to firm up their schedule more than a week in advance.

Both places would offer the option of dinner and/or drinks before or after…

Anybody else interested? Leave a comment.

If you want to see a movie that will REALLY piss you off go to this
website and hear what people who should know have to say about how badly Odumbo has compromised our national security and our armed forces.

    http://www.opsecteam.org/index.html

It’s a 22 minute video called “Dishonorable Disclosures” It’s about our military sources he has compromised and the identities of people who have helped this country and are paying for in some cases with their lives. All because he can’t keep his flappy mouth shut.

I heard about this on the Hugh Hewitt show the other day and meant to check it out. It’s from a bunch of retired Special Forces guys and sounded really compelling. Thanks for the link!

Well, it didn’t take long for the bullshit to start flying out of every crack and keyhole in the Whitehouse. “Lies, all lies” Our
President is a great man…Rah,rah, rah, sis boom BLAH! If that big
mouthed Communist ever sticks his head out the window of that oversized Humvee he rides around in while it’s going too fast his lips will beat him to death…LOL

Newsmax reported that the Media Matters clown Eric Boehlert tweeted “former Navy SEALs don’t have guts to admit they’re running a GOP, anti-Obama campaign.” I’d like to see him call a Navy SEAL gutless to his face.

So would I. That would be almost as much fun as watching Buzz Aldrin punch the shit out of “Bart the Fart” Sibrel when Sibrel called him a coward, a liar, and a thief, and accused him of helping to fake the Apollo 11 moon landing. I’d LOVE to have that video! I think I’ll try to get from YouTube.
