Jill Stein’s great public service

Posted by Richard on December 15, 2016

Americans interested in fair and honest elections, and especially voters in Michigan, owe Green Party candidate Jill Stein thanks. Per Americans for Limited Government’s NetRightDaily:

Jill Stein and her puppet master Hillary Clinton’s effort to stop the certification of enough Trump delegates to disrupt the Electoral College has run aground in the most delightful way.

In Michigan, where Trump has been certified the winner in spite of Stein’s efforts, Wayne County (Detroit), where Clinton overwhelmingly won, has come under fire explicitly due to the recount.  Turns out in 37 percent of the Detroit precincts more votes were cast than the number of people who showed up to the polls to vote. No one would have noticed if not for the personal enrichment recall scheme of the former Green Party presidential candidate.

The Detroit News quotes Krista Haroutunian, the chairwoman of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers as saying, “There’s always going to be small problems to some degree, but we didn’t expect the degree of problem we saw in Detroit. This isn’t normal.”

Now Wayne County officials will be subjected to an audit by the Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson’s office, the exact kind of electoral proctology exam that every local official fears.

To make matters worse for Democrats in the state, Stein’s broad claims of voter fraud convinced the GOP majority in the state legislature to respond by passing voter identification legislation.  The exact type of legislation that the left has vehemently opposed.  Talk about open mouth, insert foot.

It’s a shame that Stein didn’t demand a recount in Illinois. It might have been quite interesting to see what such an effort revealed in Chicago. Although I suspect the crooked pols in Chicago are better at covering their tracks than those in Detroit.

    Hey Richard:
I don’t know whether this will be extremely useful or not. I used it for a while but I can’t remember the time I posted to tell of one these idiots of which you speak that “anthropocentric global warming/climate change” does not exist, but I thought you might find it at least minimally entertaining:

The liberal cultist theory of “climate change” is nonsense. There is no
scientific consensus that global warming is even taking place, let alone
that it’s serious. There are numerous scientific reasons why it doesn’t exist.
    1. The temperature of Earth has been essentially flat for the last 18 years,
and even Phil Jones from the University of Anglia now admits this is true.
    2. Tens of thousands of mainstream scientists do not agree that “global
warming” is taking place at all.
    3. Arctic ice is not decreasing, and is in fact expanding and has gotten 50%
bigger since 2012. Al Gore’s silly prediction that it would be gone by
2013 has certainly not come true.
    4. Careful analysis shows that 95% of climate models used to predict “global
warming” have turned out to be wrong. Dr. Roy Spencer analyzed 90
climate models against surface temperature and satellite temperature data
and found that more than 95 percent of the models “have over-forecast the
warming trend since 1979, whether we use their own surface temperature
dataset (HadCRUT4), or our satellite dataset of lower tropospheric
temperatures (UAH).” There’s an old saying in programming that goes,
“Garbage in, garbage out.” In other words, if the assumptions and data
you put into the models are faulty, then the results will be worthless.
    5. Most predictions about the impact of “global warming” have also turned
out to be false. Not only has Al Gore’s ridiculous prediction been wrong,
but also James Hansen’s nonsense about the West Side Highway in New
York being gone by now has turned out to be BS.
If the climate models, predictions and data used by these people are not even close to being correct, how can a rational person be expected to believe in this totally fatuous theory?

Now let’s ALL get together and do this right ON the count of three…ready? 1–2–3 “Why am I not surprised?

Sorry I can’t seem get my brain to work right today. I actually meant the second comment here to go with your post on Jill Stein, and my FIRST one to go with your post heaping scorn on climate change. If there is any way you can fix it I would appreciate it. If not then at least you know where things were MEANT to go.
